Lino cut printing

Great time yesterday afternoon at the second of our printing workshops. This one was around lino cut printing.  More tricky than last weeks Gelli printing - it  takes a little longer to prepare the plate and requires more dexterity.

Everyone produced something great. Several people based their work on flowers but we also had a bird, fox and cat, if you think about it they can  all can be seen on allotment sites.

There was also a  print of a jam pot - the end result of some  allotment produce. This led on to a discussion around  jams and chutneys, several attendees said they had made green tomato chutney last year and agreed it would be a great idea to bring some along for us all to sample at next weeks workshop - we'll be adding  cheese and biscuits of course!!!!
