At todays Heritage booklet meeting we all agreed, it suddenly all seems to be coming together!!! but remembering back to my essay writing days this is often the way, you seem to be 'walking through treacle' then all of a sudden it changes and you can breath a huge sigh of relief, it's starts getting easier.
On Wednesday we took a group from Action from carers for a 'Safari' around the allotments, unfortunately, it started spitting with rain as we left the Station House and it became heavier as we went on. We did get to see a few features: the lovely plot full of flowers as you go onto the site, Doug the Scarecrow who dresses according to the seasons and the bee hives to name a few.
Every cloud has a silver lining and we were able to head back to the Station house and tuck into the cream tea Triss had been preparing.
Just want to finish with a thank you to all the people who dropped into our tea n'talk event in the afternoon.
One interesting thing we did come across whilst over at the allotments was tomato plants with black fruit, amazing!!
